Upton, Alfred
Private 23624, 2nd Bn., West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Own). Died 19th July 1916. Aged 20. Son of John Edward and Hannah Upton, of 179, Sherwood St., Nottingham. Late of G.P.O. Nottingham and York. Buried Cambrin Churchyard Extension, Pas de Calais, France, O. 49. Commemoratd on the York Post Office War Memorial.
